What to do with our old equipment; will you take it?

In most cases the answer is yes.

Do you offer personal training services?

Yes; we work with some of the best certified personal trainers in CO. Please contact our store nearest you so we can help you determine which trainer will fit your needs.

What do you think of the products advertised on TV such as Bowflex, TreadClimber, etc.?

Most of these products are of questionable quality; they are constructed very differently than our products and may not offer the longevity and durability ours do. They may not help you accomplish your fitness goals either.

Is it important to have an adjustable stride on an elliptical?

Yes if the stride adjustment is created using a cross ramp like what Precor offers. The cross ramp will increase up to 60% of your muscle mass resulting in a much greater calorie burn. Plus cross ramps add variety to exercise.

What piece of equipment will burn more calories or work best for me?

The one you use is the best one for you. As for burning calories, it’s a function of your exertion and certain activities will accelerate a calorie burn.

What is the best home gym or weight machine?

There is not a one size fits all solution when it comes to strength training. We have many options and we need to learn what your goals and needs are. Something to keep in mind is functional training which focuses on how you move throughout the day and improves your strength to help with those activities. Functional trainers can condense everything you need in a smaller space and cut your workout time in half.

What are the best exercises for legs?

Compound exercises will provide the best results for the lower body which means you are incorporating more than one muscle group. Squats, lunges and dead lifts are examples. A functional trainer because of its variety is a great choice for these exercises.

Do I need a mat under my treadmill?

It’s a good idea. It will protect your floor from sweat and it will also protect your treadmill from items being sucked into the motor housing and onto the deck which prolongs its life.

Does my treadmill deck need to be lubricated?

Most treadmill decks require lubrication; Precor does not.
