We all know how healthy salmon is, but there is a difference in the type of salmon you purchase.
Wild salmon is much healthier than farm raised salmon.
Wild salmon contains:
- less saturated fat
- more protein
- more Omega 3 fatty acid
Wild salmon is pink due to their consumption of carotenid - rich krill.
Farm raised salmon are fed artificial coloring to give them their pink hue.
